When
I was growing up my parents could not afford for me to
have orthodontic work done and so growing up I was always
self- conscious about my crooked teeth. Although I am
a very happy person I would often find myself trying not
to smile or I would smile with my lips closed so as not
show my crooked teeth. As I went on to get marries and
then have children the thought of having straight teeth
was still something I thought about often but I always
came to the same conclusion that now in my thirties I
was just too old to wear braces. Not to mention adding
the hassle of having monthly orthodontic visits in an
already hectic schedule.
I
started doing some research online about veneers and came
across information about the new Lumineers by Cerinate
which required very little if any loss of tooth structure
and no needles! So at my next dental visit with Dr. Shuman
I asked if I would be a good candidate for these new veneers
and he said I was! I was so excited at the thought of
having straight teeth that I scheduled my appointment
right away. The whole procedure from start to finish took
only two visits and was completely painless. Dr. Shuman
and his staff were wonderful; they made me feel very comfortable
every step of the way and were great at answering any
questions I may have had.
Today
I am so happy for having had this procedure done. My teeth
are very straight, perfectly shaped and beautifully white.
Two years in braces would not have given me such wonderful
results and a great smile!"
