OFFICE MANAGER: Alisa supports our dental staff and our patients to make certain that a visit to our office is a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of our everyday life. We're here to help provide exceptional service and we think you'll feel the difference.
DENTAL ASSISTANT: Our assistants are with you throughout your dental procedure to ensure your comfort and to assist Dr. Shuman in providing exceptional care.
PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR: Their one and only focus is YOU! We are committed to providing you with 5-Star VIP service and our patient care coordinators will be there to help you with the details regarding treatment recommendations, appointment scheduling and payment options that will be comfortable for you.
We are a preventive practice. We begin all treatment with
a thorough diagnosis and a personalized design for preventive
care. We make recommendations based on your priorities
and potentially urgent needs. Most of our patients recognize
that the complete treatment option is the wisest investment.
We can also provide an ideal treatment plan at a pace
that is right for you.

In addition to excellent preventive care, we also offer
superior restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
We know that you have reserved time in your busy life
because caring for your dental health is important to
you. We value your time and we pride ourselves on running
on schedule. We also believe in family time and the practice
hours are designed so that evenings are spent with family.
We also understand that emergencies do happen and in the
event of a dental emergency Dr. Shuman can be reached
after hours.
Before beginning treatment, we will discuss fees with
you, review your dental plan information, and present
your payment options. We offer several financial choices.
Please take advantage of our pre-payment courtesy whenever
it is comfortable for you. You may opt for one of our
interest-free payment plans, designed especially for dental
care. Our professional payment-service companies allow
us to reduce the cost of billing while still allowing
you to afford the smile you deserve.
A dental plan is not insurance. Rather, it is a contract
between your employer and an insurance company, designed
to help you defray the cost of dental care. It is not
intended to pay for all your dental needs or to decide
what treatment is best for you. Dr. Shuman designs treatment
plans based on patient health needs, not on dental health
coverage. However, once your treatment needs are diagnosed,
we can help you get the most from your plan. We will always
submit the dental claim paperwork for you and are glad
to provide that service for you. And with your permission,
we can request a summary of benefits prior to your first
visit. This will allow us to provide you with information
that will help you make the best choices about your dental
health. We are committed to making every patient feel
at home; we have designed a reception area that is cozy
and hospitable. When you arrive, please help yourself
to a complimentary coffee or juice at our beverage center.
